Years ago in the Brooklyn Moonshining scene, Arak was a beloved cultural drink made in a “Kirke” copper stove top still.
Arak is a traditional Mediterranean distilled spirit that is made from fermented grapes or dates, which are then distilled with herbs, spices, and Mediterranean fruits.
The aniseed gives Arak its distinct licorice-like flavor and aroma, while the other herbs and spices provide additional complexity and depth.
Using modern distillation techniques and state-of-the-art technology, we’ve matured this spirit into an artisanal masterpiece that’s sure to delight even the most discerning palate.
